The Bronx River Parkway (reference routes 907G and 907H) follows the Bronx River from I-278 into White Plains. At one time, a southern extension to Soundview Park was planned. The roadway is maintained by Westchester County outside of New York City and the exit numbers reset at the Sprain Brook Parkway. With construction beginning in 1907, it was the earliest limited access highway to start construction, and the first to use a median divider.
