
NY 695 is a short connecting freeway between NY 5 and I-690 in Syracuse and was completed in the 1970s. NY 695 was the first freeway in Region 3 to have tenth milemarkers, with a blue version of the MUTCD enhanced reference location markers (which have since been changed to green).
